FAQs
A grounded guide to what it’s like to work together
What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Therapy helps you heal, process, and work through emotional or mental health concerns.
Coaching helps you grow, gain clarity, reconnect with yourself, and take aligned action toward the future you want.
Although I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, Live Brave Collective is exclusively a coaching + consulting practice. I don’t diagnose, treat, or offer therapy in this space. My work focuses on growth, leadership, alignment, and future-focused action.
If I’m currently in therapy, can I still do coaching?
Yes — many people find the two complement each other.
I do not serve as both coach and therapist for the same individual.
If you’re needing therapy or would benefit from additional mental health support, I’m happy to help you find the right referral.
Who is coaching for?
Coaching is a great fit if you’re someone who is:
High-capacity, motivated, or feeling pulled toward growth
Leading a business, a team, or a household
Feeling misaligned, restless, or disconnected from yourself
Overthinking or over-efforting
Longing for clarity, courage, or a next step
Wanting to show up with more confidence and authenticity
Coaching is not for acute mental health crises or untreated trauma.
What can I expect during a coaching session?
A session is grounded, collaborative, and paced intentionally.
We slow down, tune into what’s true for you, clarify what’s needed, and identify simple, aligned action.
You’ll walk away with clarity, support, and direction.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
Both.
Virtual coaching is available anywhere.
Some group experiences (like The Brave Table) are offered in person.
What is The Brave Table?
The Brave Table is a six-week small-group experience designed to help people connect more deeply — to themselves, to others, and to what’s next.
It’s relational, reflective, and intentionally crafted to create meaningful conversation and community.
Do you work with teams or organizations?
Yes.
I offer Working Genius workshops, team retreats, communication support, and leadership development for small businesses, teams, or partnerships.
These offerings can be customized to your team’s needs and goals.
What is The Working Genius, and how do you use it?
The Working Genius is a simple, practical framework that reveals how you’re naturally wired to collaborate, create, and lead.
As a Certified Working Genius Facilitator, I use it to help individuals and teams increase clarity, reduce burnout, and improve communication.
Do you offer faith-integrated coaching?
Yes — when it aligns with your values.
I’m comfortable weaving in Scripture, prayer, and spiritual grounding when requested. It’s always optional and led by your preference.
What if I’m not sure coaching is the right fit?
That’s what the Discovery Call is for.
It’s a no-pressure space to explore what you’re navigating and whether coaching is the right support for you or your team.
